If you can't make it run in SPSS, we now advise to simply use MachIt directly in R. Hello, Unfortunately we stopped support of the program beyond SPSS 25 (since most people are switching to R these days). I had to download a few additional tools for R. I think I have successfully integrated SPSS v23, the R integration package for 23, and R 3.1.1, and psmatching 3.04. It's strange that there is no error, which makes debugging difficult. It might be that the dataset is too large. Does this error happen only with your actual dataset? Can you create a toy dataset (3 variables, treatment, outcome, one covariate) with maybe 20 cases or so.

I cannot seem to get the PS match for mAC for SPSS 22. Sorry for the bad news, Felix On Mon, at 10:32 PM TANVI Patil 1 year ago TANVI Patil This made updating difficult because PSMATCHING relied on R packages that also needed specific R versions. SPSS used to publish which R version you needed for which SPSS version.
Ps matching spss 25 update#
With every new SPSS version we had to update the extension and with the general move to R, it just didn't seem worth it. Warning message: In library(MatchIt, logical.return = TRUE) : there is no package called 'MatchIt' Warning message: In.ĭear Tanvi, Unfortunately PSMATCHING is no longer actively supported. The button "PS matching" appeared, but when I runned a PSM (moreover on different datasets) this is the output I received. I have (apparently) correctly installed the R plug-in 2.12.1, SPSS R Essenstial, and installed the file psmatching_2.spd by running SPSS 20 as administrator.
Hallo everyone, I got a problem while running a PSM on SPSS 20. One work-around is to go into R directly and install them using the command: install.packages("MatchIt") However, one issue with this is that different versions of SPSS require different versions of R, which in turn require different versions of packages. Your particular error stems from certain packages not being installed in R, specifically "RItools", "MatchIt", and "cem".
Dear Luca, We are not actively supporting PSMATCHING anymore, and suggest that people use MatchIt in R.
